About this build

Coronado Avenue is a modern reading of classic Coronado architecture. Board and batten siding, dual covered balconies, and decorative garage doors carry a familiar vocabulary, while the proportions and detailing are unmistakably current.

Exterior siding on the coast is a durability question as much as an aesthetic one. Flashing, rain screen detailing, and fastener selection were specified with the marine environment in mind so the facade ages the way it should.

The concrete and turf driveway handles stormwater while softening the approach, and the two balconies extend the living space of a five bedroom, six bathroom plan into the island air.
