New Custom Home
8th Street
A brand new coastal residence on Coronado Island, built from the ground up with custom hardwood stairs, designer lighting, and floor to ceiling windows framing ocean views.
Project Overview
About this build
This 8th Street residence was built from bare ground on one of Coronado Island's most tightly regulated blocks. The lot allowed no margin for error, so the build began with a detailed site logistics plan that protected neighboring properties, kept the street clear, and staged every delivery to a fixed schedule.
Inside, the home is defined by restraint. Custom hardwood stairs were fabricated and dry fit before finish, designer lighting was laid out with the interior designer during framing rather than after drywall, and floor to ceiling windows were set to align precisely with the sight lines toward the water.
The result is a three bedroom, four bathroom home that reads as timeless rather than trend driven, with a level of finish carpentry that holds up under close inspection.
